I was born in Clyde, and moved to Newark when I was six.  I attended St. Michael’s School from grades K-8 and Graduated from Newark Sr. High in 1993.  I attended Canisius College and SUNY Brockport to pursue a Degree in Physical Education/Teachers Certification.  I was a member of the baseball programs at both Colleges, and can say that I have hit a Home Run in a Division 1 Baseball game.  I currently reside in Walworth, with my wife Shannon and two children, Cameron and Connor.  As a family, we enjoy sports.  I am a youth sports coach in my community and really enjoy seeing those kids have fun and learn the sports we participate in.

I have assisted or participated in the following Community Service Groups: Newark Rotary, Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Newark Chamber of Commerce, Penfield Chamber of Commerce, Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce, Penfield Rotary, Wayne County Nursing Home Foundation, and Newark Ducks Unlimited.

Jennifer Preston

I have been employed with Reliant Community FCU, for 12 years serving in various roles. I have a strong passion to share what credit unions have to offer our communities. It is important for community members to be aware of the businesses, resources and opportunities available in our area. As a board member, I hope to continue fostering collaboration between the local businesses, chambers, government leaders and communities.

I have lived in Wayne County for most of my life; I am a Marion JR/SR High school graduate and earned degrees from FLCC and Medaille College. As a Wayne County resident, I believe working to make our community a better place to own a business, be employed in, reside in and raise a family, is a great investment of my time.  In addition to serving on the WCBC board, I have coached youth soccer, been an active member of Rotary, involved with Cub Scouts and am currently a Girl Scout Troop Co-Leader.
